My machine OS is Window 8.1. www.network-drivers.com Sound Blaster Live! Now, the situation gets very frustrated. Before I RMA anything I would like some feed back first. https://www.eightforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/47506-bsod-boot-nt-cctestcontrol-driver.html

Create a new thread and we could respond there ^_^ Member of theBleeping ComputerA.I.I.early response team! wreak writes... I think I'll either just keep uninstalling when I want to use Truecrypt or jump ship to another anti-virus program.

CcTestControl is probably your problem driver, but finding a fix is hard. You can enter !symfix in the console to resolve the symbol issues, then save the workspace, close WinDbg, and then reopen and open the dump file. You should see more detailed information provided (and not the symbol errors seen in this text). I did have trial mcafee but was removed early on by online support.

This problems started with 22.1.0.9 patch. Other than putting the mounted Truecrypt file in READ ONLY, the only real way I can use Truecrupt is  by uninstalling Norton then re-installing it when I finish. If I disable Norton every works OK. visit In the meantime, can you try mounting truecrypt/veracrypt volumes in read only mode as a workaround.

So, I panicked, restarted the system, logged back on and guess what? This release includes Updated version of ... Hopefully, fingers crossed, we have run SFC, Chkdsk & Repairs. I hope Norton acknowledges this problem and is actively working on it.

As long as you followed instructions, it will do it's thing, could take up to an hour, depends on your comp. https://github.com/dokan-dev/dokany/issues/27 Copy paste them to your Desktop and then zip them up and upload ^_^ I would love to. You're doing great :) User #25985 2464 posts flossed Whirlpool Forums Addict reference: whrl.pl/RefY3t posted 2015-Mar-26, 5:19 pm AEST ref: whrl.pl/RefY3t posted 2015-Mar-26, 5:19 pm AEST O.P. After turning it off, run a few manual live updates and make sure TC is uptodate (v7.2) A link for related reading:http://superuser.com/questions/669026/how-can-i-use-truecrypt-under-wind... http://allwebsitescripts.com/bsod-on/bsod-on-every-cold-boot-kernel-data-inpage-error.html rick_s Regular Contributor5 Reg: 23-Apr-2011 Posts: 156 Solutions: 3 Kudos: 13 Kudos0 Re: LONG STORY: Norton BSOD me when I use Truecrypt Posted: 01-Jan-2015 | 11:45PM • Permalink well, add me Can you make a test with mirror ? A machine with outdated virus def has no issues using same software.

I can open, move files(out of the volume, nothing in) and so on and not get a BSOD only if I set it in READ ONLY mode. Contributor marinkobabic commented Jul 17, 2015 Your dump would be very interesting if you could provide it. There is no certainty, but considering the evidence its highly likely that its a driver issue. have a peek here just happens randomly nothing in particular, once was on windows load then the rest was just random time , like game (WoW) running in windows mode while i am browsing.

It was showing up on Task manager's list of programs running but not on the list of active programs. 8 or so minutes later, just as I am about to restart, Is it always the same stack trace? It's not just Truecrypt.

You may have it on your comp.

Member Liryna commented Jul 10, 2015 2- Ok so if I understand well, DokanStopEventNotificationThread will not block but KeWaitForSingleObject in DokanStopEventNotificationThreadInternal will still hangs forever ? I hope the fix will be available soon. Hope they don't end up saying they can't do anything about it this time.  PPSP Newbie1 Reg: 25-Dec-2014 Posts: 2 Solutions: 0 Kudos: 0 Kudos0 Re: LONG STORY: Norton BSOD me This was the case in the discussion with Mathy and Benjamin.

With Norton Security 22.1.0.9 running on Win8.1, when I try to access a mounted truecrypt file, I instantly get a BSOD :- MODULE_NAME: SRTSP64 FAULTING_MODULE: fffff801a1879000 nt DEBUG_FLR_IMAGE_TIMESTAMP: 54767e1c BUGCHECK_STR: 0xCA_2 thxs "wreak" for letting me know i can post all of it to pastebin Here is the entire dump file. it might be a ram problem because I've done an amd platform swap to intel (full reformat) swapped everything but one stick of ram and a hard drive. Contributor marinkobabic commented Jul 10, 2015 Correct.
