BSOD When Going To Sleep/hibernate (Windows 8.1)

I can see them right now. HP Envy 20 Touchsmart PC. It has increased in frequency recently. Windows gave me the message that I already had the most up to date drivers, but sleep functioned normally after restart. http://allwebsitescripts.com/bsod-when/bsod-when-waking-laptop-up-from-hibernate.html

It lights up the keyboard when attached,, so I know it has battery. Using the site is easy and fun. Other than that, if clean install and going through all of these actions doesn't help, you might try a small square of electric tape to fit nicely over that blinking light. You may want to see if a diagnostic tool is running in the background that is causing your PC not to go into idle mode. Any suggestions for a real fix?

Here’s The Solution Although doing this solution doesn't make any sense really, but many users have been able to get the issue fixed this way. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high. Finally unplugged it and let the battery run down.
