I recently got a windows 8 asus laptop, with 15.6 inch screen. The icons and widgets are unaffected. Is the desktop background all the way to one side? not a zoomed in version of it. his comment is here

So far we have removed a few apps that they said showed unusual activities. I tried to pick a new theme and still nothing changed, I was stuck with the flower background that came pre-installed. If you use a wallpaper smaller than resolution on your bigger screen, I still have found no way to do it.
